Triumph of the underdog.

The scenes where Cutter goes into the facility and wreaks havoc.

Interview with Judith Keim, Author of Dessert at the Beach House Hotel

What's the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Dessert at the Beach House Hotel?

This is the 6th book in the Beach House Hotel series. Because readers want more and more, I have to come up with new ideas for these characters. These are light-hearted beach reads with humor sprinkled in.

I like reading women's fiction of all kinds - I write romantic women's fiction.

Probably the scene where Ann & Rhonda surprise the couple by fixing up the apartment

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

Not really... my two dachshunds "help" me by sleeping nearby.

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

Be true to myself and always be kind.

Interview with Carmen Rosales, Author of Hidden Scars

What's the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Hidden Scars (Hillside Kings Series Book 1)?

How loss manifests into depression as a teen and young adult. So many individuals are suffering from depression and are trying to cope. I wanted to bring something different to the dark romance genre involving certain elements such as bullying in school, depression, loss of a loved one, falling in love, and diversity in different cultures. The Four book Hillside Kings Series will have all of that.

If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of Hidden Scars (Hillside Kings Series Book 1), what would they be?

Conversations by Juice WRLD, ODIUM by LXST CXNTURY, before I close my eyes by XXXTENTACION, and Habits by Tove Lo.

What's your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?

Dark Romance and Steamy Romance.

What books are on your TBR pile right now?

All He'll Ever Be by Willow Winters, Antichrist by Amo Jones, and Never Look Back by A.L. Jackson

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

The scene with Khalani, Aiden, and Leo was my favorite to write.

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

I write listening to music that inspires me to write certain scenes in my books.

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

There is always beauty in darkness. You just have to see the light to find it.

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

The journey to find that HEA.
