What's the story behind the story? What inspired you to write this book?
There is a huge twist at the end, and that scene came to me, and I could not get it out of my head! I just had to write it!

What's your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?
I read across all genres as I’m very much a mood reader, but no matter what, there has to be at least a hint of romance threading the story to leave me satisfied.

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?
Vito, the cat, tormenting his owner’s fake fiancé—Luca might be the scary mafia boss in the outside world, but that cat isn’t afraid of anyone.
Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)
I dictate a lot so I can often be found wandering around parks and forests, or sports field parking lots, talking to myself 🤦♀️
Do you have a motto, quote or philosophy you live by?
Fuck it (or feel the fear and do it anyway).
If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?
Morally gray is A-okay.
