Interview with Nell Carroll, Author of Mated to the Alien Minotaur

What's the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Mated to the Alien Minotaur?

I really wanted to write a "happy farm" book. Not all love stories need endless action. Some people want soft love and peace. Along the way, I fell in love with Many and Vozak.

What's your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?

I love reading and writing Science Fiction Romance. SFR is my favorite right now!

What books are on your TBR pile right now?

I Married a Dryad by Regine Abel, Alien Chief by Honey Phillips, A Monster's Fate by Lynna Lee, and The Alien's Chase by Ella Maven to name a few.

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

The little moments between characters that I don't plan but happen along the way. Those bring me so much joy!

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

I don't know? I usually have a lap blanket?

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

I'm between mottos right now. Let me know if you have a good one!

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

Love can be soft, quiet, and joyful.

Interview with Ember Holt, Author of The Chimera Bounty

What's the story behind the story? What inspired you to write The Chimera Bounty?

What if Earth was a prison for powerful Fae Shapeshifters!? It intrigued me too much not to explore it.

If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of The Chimera Bounty, what would they be?

Maeve = Slow Bloom by The Home Team, Corvin = Dancing with the Devil by Alter.

What's your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?

Fantasy Romance

What books are on your TBR pile right now?

The Ashes & The Star-Cursed King, Of Mist and Shadow, Between Life & Death, and An Heir to Rise.

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

The Library battle scene, the club dancing scene, her first shapeshifting transformation and so many more!

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

I will listen to the same song on repeat for 2+ hours as I grind... it helps me get in the flow.

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

Rise and grind. Level up, every day.

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

The way it made them feel.

Interview with Charity Mae, Author of The Emissary

What's the story behind the story? What inspired you to write The Emissary?

I really enjoyed a retelling of The Princess and the Pea as a child and knew I wanted to write a retelling myself.

If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of The Emissary, what would they be?

What If by Kane Brown.

What's your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?

Fantasy and dystopian both to read and write.

What books are on your TBR pile right now?

Matched, Michael Vey 7, and many more!

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

In this book, the Japchrian delegation and Celeste Day ball. 100%

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

I have to use the right air freshiner or essential oil to get into the right head space.

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

I want them to just remember the magic of the adventure. Want them to feel the love for it and the rush of adventure I felt writing it.
