Interview with BriZeen, Author of Krue Nex’s Guide to Civil Engineering

What's the story behind the story? What inspired you to write this book?

I was inspired to write this book during the Covid lockdown. The one question I had was, if people are upset staying home for two weeks, what would it be like if they could never leave?

If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of your book, what would they be? (Meant to be fun. Skip if you need to!)

"Limbo" by Freddie Dredd

What's your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?

Dark Sci-Fi

What books are on your TBR pile right now?

The Andromeda Evolution Jurassic Park

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

Krue confronts Sabri and doesn't say a single word to her. It's a powerful scene as he exacts revenge for the loss of his best friend.

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

My dog likes to sit behind me whether I want him to or not.

Do you have a motto, quote or philosophy you live by?

Never get mad. Just get even.

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

Critical thinking matters. Don't use AI, use your mind because there's a real possibility we will have to go back to a time that predates AI.
