Interview with R.R. Banks, author of Damaged

What can you tell us about your new release, Damaged?

Damaged was a very exciting book for me to write. It differs a bit from my recent releases.

I had to tackle some tough topics with this one. I wanted to write a story that was not only sexy, but beautiful, and healing. There are periods of humor weaved within the pages of Damaged. From the outside the characters are beautiful and in a sense perfect. As we learn in life though, you can’t judge a book by it’s cover. The same holds especially true for the hero and heroine of Damaged. Through one another Micah (hero) and Charlotte (heroine) can slowly heal from the trauma of their past. The hero is a billionaire turned mountain man recluse. Due to a blizzard the heroine gets into an accident nearby Micah’s cabin. Micah saves her, but she loses her memory.

You’ll have to read Damaged to find out what happens next. Fate brought Micah and Charlotte together once more. Will they be able to find happily-ever after with the second chance they are given?

What’s the last book you read?

Slyvia Day- Bare to You

You’re hosting a literary dinner party. Which three writers are invited?

E.L. James, J.K. Rowling, and Nicholas Sparks.

What's your favorite thing about writing?

With my words I can paint a beautiful image and create a wonderful story for people to enjoy.

I think that’s a magical thing, and I love that.

What is a typical day like for you?

Hit the snooze a few times. Lol

At about 7AM I get up, make coffee. Check my calendar, emails, and dive into writing. I pretty much live by my computer, just writing/ working.

BAM. You're a superhero. What's your superpower?

Writing at Super Speed!

What scene in Damaged was your favorite to write?

The ending. You’ll have to read Damaged to find out why. Lol

Do you have a motto, quote or philosophy you live by?

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

I truly believe that it’s important to treat every human being with respect and compassion
