What's the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Girl Unplugged Teen Survival Guide?

Some years ago I authored an award-winning, best-selling teen series of 7 books called "GirlForce". I know this age group very well and I felt it was time for a new book that addressed the comparison culture of social media, the challenges of peer pressure, and gives practical, relatable advice about self-love and body image.

If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of Girl Unplugged Teen Survival Guide, what would they be?

Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off".

What's your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?

Classic novels like Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" or George Eliot's "Middlemarch".

What books are on your TBR pile right now?

"Psykhe" by Kate Forsyth and "The Body Keeps the Score" by Bessel van der Kolk, which I've been meaning to read for ages.

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

In Girl Unplugged it was all about getting the tone right for the girls who will pick it up and read it.

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

I love to have my two dachshunds at my feet and a cup of steaming hot chai at my desk when I start writing in the morning.

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

The mantra for my publishing company Go2Guru Publishing and my community Facebook group Self-Love Club is "Feel the Love".

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

The message of ALL my books, including Girl Unplugged, is self-love. I teach this path to self-embrace in everything I do and write.

As an avid user of AI tools like ChatGPT, I noticed that many people weren't leveraging their full potential due to a lack of effective prompting techniques. I was inspired to write this book to bridge that gap.

If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of Mastering AI Prompt Engineering: The Ultimate Guide for ChatGPT Users, what would they be?

While my book doesn't have characters in the traditional sense, if I had to choose a theme song, it would be "Technologic" by Daft Punk.

What's your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?

I love reading non-fiction, especially books on technology, psychology, and personal development.

What books are on your TBR pile right now?

I'm looking forward to reading "AI Superpowers" by Kai-Fu Lee, "Thinking, Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman, and "The Creativity Code" by Marcus du Sautoy.

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

My favorite part was writing the chapter on advanced prompting techniques like Chain of Thought (CoT) and Reasoning and Correction (ReAct).

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

I prefer writing early in the morning with a strong cup of coffee. I also enjoy having instrumental music playing softly in the background to keep me focused.

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

Stay curious, keep learning.

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

That effective communication with AI starts with a well-crafted prompt.
