Interview with Willow Rose, Author of Rest In Peace (Eva Rae Thomas Mystery Book 15)

What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Rest In Peace (Eva Rae Thomas Mystery Book 15)?

I had a friend who was in a fight with her ex husband and she was so angry with him, I worried she might actually hurt him. She didn’t and she was in her right to be angry, but the thought lingered still. What if something happened to him? Wouldn’t we immediately think she was involved?

If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of Rest In Peace (Eva Rae Thomas Myster Book 15), what would they be?

“House Burn Down” by King Princess.

What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?

I love lots of different genres. Mysteries, thrillers, and romance are my favorites.

What books are on your TBR pile right now?

I have been reading Colleen Hoover lately and having a good time with her books.

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

The first one, where Sarah drives down the road, angry and very drunk.

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

I have a cat that will sit on my desk and stare at my printer. Apparently, the light flashing on it is more interesting than me.

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

Just Do it! I know it’s a commercial but still. If you want something in life, just go ahead and make it happen.

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

To not murder your husband in anger, and not drive around drunk.
