I was inspired by my own psilocybin journey.

The Historian and Killers of the Flower Moon.

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

Ah… I loved the opportunity to revisit Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, where the boundary between life and death is presented so skillfully.

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

Carpe Diem! Of course.

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

That the mystery of death can be understood and appreciated.
