Interview with P. Dangelico, author of Nothing But Trouble

01 Apr 2019

What can you tell us about your new release, Nothing But Trouble?

Nothing But Trouble kicks off a brand new New Adult series set in Malibu University and features the sexy championship winning men’s water polo team. Each book in the Malibu University Series is a standalone novel and focuses on one of the players on the team and the young woman he falls for.

What books are currently on your night stand?

Since I primarily read on my Kindle these days, I have a tidy nightstand. However, I’m currently reading K.A Tucker’s One Tiny Lie.

What advice would you give your teenage self?

If I could give my teenage self a bit of advice, it would have to be––go easier on yourself. I think girls have a tendency to be too hard on themselves.

If you had an extra hour each day, how would you spend it?

If I had an extra hour each day, I would try to cram two extra hours worth of life i.e. reading, exercising, sleeping. That would be the plan. And then I would inevitably end up writing.

What makes your world go round? Why does it bring you joy?

What brings me joy is hanging out with my furry friends––my dogs and my horse––and writing.

What scene in Nothing But Trouble was your favorite to write?

Our hero, Reagan Reynolds, spends a fair amount of time trying to convince our heroine, Alice Bailey, that he genuinely wants to help her after he almost runs her over with his car. As you can imagine, she’s not immediately fond of the idea and lots of fun banter ensues during those scenes.
