What can you tell us about your new release, For 100 Nights?
For 100 Nights is the second book in my sexy, suspenseful new contemporary romance trilogy. In the first book, For 100 Days, a talented but struggling artist named Avery Ross is thrust into the glittering world of alpha billionaire Dominic Baine. As different as they seem on the surface, Avery and Nick are both damaged people who don’t trust easily, let alone admit someone into their hearts. Both of them enter this relationship with secrets and ugly pasts they’ve never had to deal with—until they finally meet the one person who breaks down all of their walls and refuses to let them hide anymore. These characters have been living in my head for a few years and I’m so excited to share their story with readers.
What’s on your top 5 list for books you’ve ever read?
Sticking with fiction, in no particular order: The Harry Potter series, George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series (Game of Thrones), Anne Rice’s The Vampire Chronicles, The DaVinci Code (Dan Brown), and 1984 (George Orwell).
What fictional literary world would you most like to visit?
I’d love to experience any of George R. R. Martin’s Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. (Preferably not as a member of the Stark family, however.)
What’s your spirit animal?
I’ve never considered this! I’ll go with a crow. Inquisitive, observant, somewhat shy/untrusting, and unable to resist shiny objects.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
An actor or a writer. Too shy for acting, so here I am!
What is the one movie you can quote the most?
Just one? That’s impossible to answer because there is an apt movie quote for virtually any situation!
What scene in For 100 Nights was your favorite to write?
The final scene, because I’ve known from the day I first plotted the series that Avery and Nick were headed for that moment.
Do you have a motto, quote or philosophy you live by?
It changes, but essentially, I live my life by this simple tenet: Be kind, but take no crap.
