What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Legally Burned?
To write from a female prosecutor’s perspective and to teach people about the justice system without preaching.
If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of Legally Burned, what would they be?
I have Spotify playlists — but Spirit in the Sky for Sloan.
What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?
Paranormal and Urban Fantasy!
What books are on your TBR pile right now?
I am getting ready for Book 3 so I am reading Winston Churchill’s book, “Walking with Destiny.”
What scene in your book was your favorite to write?
The last scene with Sloan and Tate…my least favorite was a breakup scene…I ended up breaking up with my boyfriend at the same time…
Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)
I meditate and say a prayer that I can write a book that leaves readers craving more.
Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?
Bite Me to anyone who tries to thrive off of humiliating or oppressing others…
If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?
