What's the story behind the story? What inspired you to write this book?
I felt that it was important to give Treeka some closure after the traumatic events of her last book. I started writing this book in 2022, shortly after publishing Silent Assassins Society but after two rewrites I finally finished the work in Summer of 2026. It properly wraps up many events that were still dangling.
If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of your book, what would they be?
For Treeka: "My Body Is a Cage" by Peter Gabriel or "The Day the World Went Away" by Nine Inch Nails. Both songs resonated on different levels as I was writing her scenes.

What's your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?
To read, Science Fiction is my #1 followed by Fantasy and Horror. I often write in the same genres.

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?
A toss by between the Automakka and the battle between Treeka and Flywheel. The Tatum and Jordan battle scenes were also fun.
Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)
Not really, I just get down to writing but I do enjoy some java.
Do you have a motto, quote or philosophy you live by?
Help others and give more than you get. Also respect your fellow human, life is too short for strife.
If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?
There is always another way.
