What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Vengeful Behavior?

I read an online report about a woman who took off all her clothes and danced naked in Times Square. Since my protagonist Dr. David Rothberg is a psychiatrist, I thought to use this episode for him to investigate. What would make a woman want to do this?

If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of Vengeful Behavior, what would they be?

Dr. David Rothberg. “I’ve Gotta be Me” (written by the author).

What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?

Police procedural. Most of my books are in that genre.

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

All the psychiatric hospital scenes involving the woman who strips

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

No. It’s just my job.

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

Perseverance!

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

There is no end to the complexities of the human mind.
