Interview with Renee Rose, Author of Don’t Make Me

What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Don’t Make Me?

Don’t Make Me is a forbidden romance between the daughter of a mafia boss and her father’s right-hand man. While it’s mafia romance, it’s not terribly dark, but more erotic (with elements of BDSM) in nature.

What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?

Dark romance is definitely my favorite to read. I love alpha-holes and anti-heroes!

What books are on your TBR pile right now?

I’m reading A. L. Jackson’s Never Look Back and it’s amazing!

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

There’s a great redemption scene at the very end that I absolutely loved. Don’t want to give any spoilers, though. 🙂

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

I sometimes dictate in the car because that’s when I get my best ideas!

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

I believe in law of attraction, so I believe our thoughts become our reality.

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

My editor had to wake her husband up for a little *relief* after editing my book, so I can only hope I help everyone’s sex lives that way! (wink)
