What can you tell us about your new release, Matchmaker?

I’m a sucker for reality TV. I know, I know, but it’s the truth! Matchmaker has a “Bachelorette” style format and I tried to make it like the show, but with a twist! I think readers will love the secondary characters in it. They’re a hoot!

What or who inspired you to become an author?

I don’t know that one person in particular inspired me, but I’ve always been a huge reader and wanted to write my own book(s). Previously there were just too many gatekeepers to make that a reality for me. I found out about self publishing around 2012 and started looking into how I could do it, and since then I haven’t looked back!

You’re hosting a literary dinner party. Which three writers are invited?

Willow Winters, Leigh Shen, and Bella Love Wins

What’s your favorite thing about writing?

It’s a creative outlet for me. It lets me visit worlds and get lost in them, giving me (and readers) of the grim reality of real life!

If you had to pick one place to vacation for the rest of your life, where would you choose?

Vegas or Hawaii. Vegas because I love to gamble and love all the lights. Hawaii because of the tropical beauty!

If you had an extra hour each day, how would you spend it?

Sleeping! I seem to never get enough sleep, an extra hour would definitely help!

What scene in Matchmaker was your favorite to write?

The Prologue! It’s basically foreshadowing to the moment where she chooses between the final two men, so I wanted to make it as tense as possible. I love how it turned out!
